Every hundred years, the Lantern Tree awakens—its glowing branches holding the dreams of the world. But now, the light is fading.
Journey into a forest alive with memory, where Dreamers of all ages must face forgotten fears, rediscover joy, and rise together to rekindle what was lost. Guided by luminous sprites and ancient Dream Keepers, they’ll dance through sorrow, stillness, and wonder—until the forest blooms again.
Told through original choreography, lighting, and movement, The Lantern Tree & the Forest of Forgotten Dreams is a powerful, family-friendly performance about courage, imagination, and the light we carry within.
✨ Auditions & Character Roles
Dancers ages 4 through adult are invited to audition, and all who audition will receive a role!
This is an inclusive, story-driven production with a part for everyone, from beginners to advanced performers.
🌿 Dreamkeeper Druids – lyrical, mystical guardians of the forest who guide the Dreamers through each stage of
their journey
💫 Sprites – young dancers (ages 4–8) who embody the very essence of the Lantern Tree; joyful, glowing, and filled with curiosity
🧍 Dreamers – children, teens, and adults who represent different stages of disconnection and reconnection to their in
ner dreams; roles include solos, duets, trios, and large ensemble storytelling moments
🌀 The Forgotten – featured throughout multiple emotional scenes that explore burnout, doubt, and rediscovery
