DANCE = JOY
& EVERYONE DESERVES JOY
That simple belief is the heartbeat of Skyline Dance Center. Whether you’re four and twirling for the first time or forty with years of experience, there’s a place for you here.
Located in Waukesha, WI, Skyline offers a welcoming, down-to-earth space where dancers of all backgrounds can move, learn, and grow. From ballet and lyrical to hip hop, acro/tumbling, jazz, tap, and contemporary, our programs encourage every dancer to explore their passion and progress at their own pace.
At Skyline, dance isn’t about perfection — it’s about connection, confidence, and community.

What Makes Skyline Different
We believe in Good Vibes Only — on the floor, in the lobby, and in the
community we’re building together.
2 BEAUTIFUL STUDIOS

Skyline features two state-of-the-art dance studios equipped with professional sound systems, sprung Marley flooring, LED mood lighting, tumbling equipment, and organized storage to keep every class running smoothly and safely.
FAMILY CONNECTION
Parents can stay connected with live-stream viewing in the lobby — so you can see your dancer’s progress in real time without disrupting class.

COMMUNITY BEYOND JUST DANCE

We believe that joy doesn’t stop when class ends. From kids’ movie nights and teen socials to adult events like Wine & True Crime, Skyline is a community where dancers and families make lifelong connections.
TEACHERS WHO NEVER STOP LEARNING
Our instructors are passionate, experienced, and continually expanding their expertise through certifications, conventions, and professional training — ensuring every class reflects the most current, safe, and effective teaching practices.

At SDC, training goes beyond just steps and recital dances.
We’re here to build well rounded humans who:
Build confidence through progress, not pressure.
Express creativity and discover their authentic artistry.
Develop character that shines both on and off the floor.
Our classes are structured to challenge without intimidation and inspire without comparison. Every dancer’s journey is unique — and we celebrate that.

OUR PHILOSOPHY ON PERFORMANCE
Dance recitals are outdated
Why has the dance world decided it’s acceptable to spend most of the year rehearsing a single three-minute routine — leaving only a few short weeks for true technical training?
At Skyline Dance Center, we believe technique is for life. A recital dance lasts one weekend, but the skills, artistry, and confidence built through consistent training last forever.
That’s why at Skyline, we spend nine months focusing on technique — developing strength, flexibility, musicality, and artistry before shifting gears for six focused weeks to bring our story-driven year-end production to life. Because to us, technique isn’t just steps.
It’s emotion. It’s storytelling.
It’s choreography, transitions, and improvisation, the language that allows dancers to express something real.
We’re not just preparing dancers for a recital.
We’re shaping artists for a lifetime.
