Resonance Program Training Requirements
Ballet:
All dancers in the Resonance program are required to take ballet in order to continually improve their technique. Performing a ballet routine is NOT part of this requirement.
There are multiple levels of ballet available, including an open class on Saturdays. Dancers may make-up any missed classes during other time slots at any time. Resonance dancers are encouraged to take EXTRA ballet classes as often as possible, as included in your monthly tuition.
Note: The cost of this class is built into your monthly tuition and is not optional. Dancers *must* attend a minimum of 85% of the semester’s ballet classes to remain on the team and attend competitions.
Extra Group Dances: All dancers are allowed to add on extra group routines beyond their chosen package. All dancers are strongly encouraged to register for the technique class that corresponds with the group dances they wish to perform.
Example: Dancers competing in Jazz should also sign up for the Jazz technique class.
